Information on red yeast rice
red yeast rice and chemotherapy?
The doctor says it may take a Policosinol and co-enzyme for chemotherapy. I have high cholesterol. I read about red yeast rice drug interactions, networking and makes no mention of chemo, but many say they do not know not much about red yeast rice. My doctor thinks that drug production and state I kind of laugh about some of my resources, I am seeking information from other sources that do not want to end chemotherapy with my cholesterol enriched. The red yeast rice has helped my cholesterol. (Incidentally, I saw friends suffer major problems with cholesterol medications RX and want avoid these.) But I do not create a problem for me if I could be a problem when taking red yeast rice during chemotherapy. Any that have info on this? Thank you. shej95032
I feel their personal situation. I was told that any natural therapy does not work as well with or after chemotherapy. I as diet (raw foods, juices, etc.) to lower cholesterol is safe and feasible, also helps keep your body and rebuild your immune system with chemotherapy. I heard positive and negative aspects of people taking red yeast rice and I'd be on the side of caution during chemotherapy because their system is committed because it is not necessary to treat possible side effects.
