Chinese red yeast rice

Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer production and is suitable for vegetarians. Marmite is traditionally consumed as chocolate spread bread, crackers and biscuits. Because of its strong flavor is usually sprinkling with butter or margarine.

But today, Marmite is used in dishes and there are many recipes on how to mix pot with other food. Because the taste of the pan delicious sauce, continues to amaze people have tried the dish. Here is a recipe for chicken pot.

Ingredients:

1 cup oil for frying

2 chicken legs, about 9 ounces, chopped

Marinade:

1 teaspoon of light soy sauce

1 / 2 teaspoon salt

1 red / 2 teaspoon

1 tablespoon flour corn

Sauce:

2 tablespoons yeast extract Marmite

1 tablespoon maltose

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon light soy sauce

A pinch of pepper and bouillon granules chicken, 0.5 cup water

Method:

1. Combine chicken with marinade and marinate for 1 hour. Fry in oil Warm for 2 minutes or until cooked. Washer and the drain

2. Leave 1 tablespoon oil in a wok, add sauce and cook over medium until thickened. Put in the fried chicken and mix well. Dish and serve

The same type of cooking can be applied to pork and shrimp. You can substitute chicken with pork chops or shrimp, and follow the same ingredients and cooking method. However, if you use shrimp, you can skip the step of the marinade, because it is not necessary to marinade for shrimp.
